A Damp Weekend

13th June 2016
Despite the not too favourable weather, another good weekend was had at Burton Agnes Garden Fair near Driffield. The number of visitors was very much lower than the previous weekend at Holker Hall Garden festival.

There was a plentiful supply of nurseries and garden traders for the public, talks given by the "lady of the manor", head gardener and other gardening experts. I was lucky enough to be housed in one of the marquees along with Beverley Beekeepers, Hosta, Fuscia and other crafters and we all managed to stay dry.

Though the crowds weren't as great as other events I have recently attended, it was great to see three lots of clients returning for new material and a total of sixteen images going over the weekend. A quiet couple of weeks now before my debut at Driffield Show on 20th July. Thanks again to everyone who stopped to admire, chat or buy.
